Terms of sale

Enrolment, prices, payment, postponement and cancellation of ACERFI's training and services.

01 Scope

These terms of sale govern the services sold by ACERFI: vocational training, programmes for young people, online training, consulting assignments and the services of the group's houses.

Any enrolment or order implies unreserved acceptance of these terms of sale. They prevail over any purchasing conditions of the client, unless otherwise agreed in a signed written document.

02 Our services

  • Inter-company training — open-calendar sessions bringing together participants from different organisations.
  • In-company training — a programme designed for a single organisation, on our premises or at its site.
  • Distance learning — courses followed on the online campus, on their own or alongside classroom teaching.
  • Consulting and support — audit, structuring and digital transformation assignments.

03 Quotes and orders (organisations)

Every request from an organisation leads to a written proposal stating the content, duration, venue, number of participants and price. The proposal is valid for thirty (30) days.

The order becomes firm on receipt of the signed proposal or purchase order. A training agreement is drawn up where the nature of the service requires it.

04 Individual enrolment

Enrolment is made online, by phone or at our reception desk. It is confirmed once the complete file and the payment or agreed deposit have been received.

A minor is enrolled by a parent or legal representative, who guarantees payment.

Places are limited and are allocated in order of confirmation.

05 Prices

Prices are stated in CFA francs (XAF) and apply to the service described in the programme or quote. Any applicable tax is shown on the quote and invoice.

Unless stated otherwise, participants' travel, accommodation and meal costs, and fees for external certification exams, are not included.

06 Payment terms

Payments are accepted by MTN Mobile Money, Orange Money, bank transfer, or in cash at our reception desk. A receipt is issued for every payment.

For organisations, invoices are payable thirty (30) days from the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing. A deposit may be requested with the order; its amount is stated on the quote.

Failure to pay when due may, after an unanswered reminder, lead to suspension of access to the training and withholding of certificates.

07 Agreement and documents provided

Depending on the service, ACERFI provides a training agreement or contract, the detailed programme, a notice giving the dates and venue, then the attendance sheet, the certificate of attendance and the invoice.

08 Postponement and cancellation by you

Any request for postponement or cancellation must be sent to us in writing. Unless otherwise stated in the quote or agreement:

  • more than ten (10) working days before the start: postponement to a later session or refund, less any administrative costs incurred;
  • between ten (10) and three (3) working days before the start: postponement to a later session is possible, and sums paid are retained in the event of cancellation;
  • less than three (3) working days before the start, or after the start: sums paid are retained by ACERFI.

A participant may be replaced by a person with the same profile free of charge until the day before the start. In the event of a serious and justified impediment, management examines each situation individually.

09 Cancellation by us

ACERFI may have to postpone or cancel a session, in particular if there are too few participants to guarantee its teaching quality. You will be informed as soon as possible.

In that case, the service is postponed to a later session of your choice or refunded in full. No other compensation is due.

10 Withdrawal for online enrolments

For any individual enrolment concluded remotely, ACERFI grants a withdrawal period of seven (7) calendar days from confirmation of enrolment, without giving reasons and without penalty.

This period no longer applies once the training has started or access to online content has been opened at your express request.

11 Conduct and participant's obligations

The participant undertakes to respect the timetable, the rules of the premises and safety instructions, and to sign the attendance sheet.

Teaching materials are provided for strictly personal use. Reproducing or distributing them, even in part, is prohibited. Audio or video recordings of sessions require prior written permission.

12 Certificates and certifications

A certificate of completion is issued to participants who have followed the course and met the planned assessment requirements, provided the service has been paid in full.

Where the course prepares for a certification awarded by a third-party body, passing the exam depends on that body and its own conditions; ACERFI cannot guarantee it.

13 Force majeure

Neither party is liable for a failure resulting from force majeure, in particular a lasting interruption of electricity or telecommunications networks, a decision by an authority or a major public disturbance. Services are then suspended and resumed as soon as possible.

14 Complaints

Any complaint about a service must be sent in writing to [email protected] within thirty (30) days of the end of the training. We acknowledge receipt and examine every complaint with the attention it deserves.

15 Governing law and disputes

These terms of sale are governed by Cameroonian law. The parties favour an amicable resolution of any dispute; failing agreement, the competent courts of Yaoundé have sole jurisdiction.
